Can PMS symptoms still be an early sign of pregnancy?

Tootie asked: I’m two days late for my period, but am still having PMS cramps and backaches. Is it possible that I could be pregnant and still be having PMS? My husband and I have been trying so I’m hoping that maybe this time was the charm.
