My mom told me last night she does it all the time at work. Any girls out there complain of PMS paints, that aren’t real, just to get out of doing things like work or gym in school?

Hahaha yeah! I do it all the time. I even started doing it before I even had my period. (: I do it mostly in gym class because it’s stupid and boring…never at volleyball practice. I love volleyball too much.

Dude, that’s messed up. I am real sensitive to it because I’ve never felt it, it’s not cool to trick people with something like that.

I’ve never done that but my sister called into work one day and lied about having a yeast infection and told her boss she couldn’t come in because it was itching really bad. My sister is disgusting. Funny thing is, she worked at a bank and the next day everyone there knew about it!!

No I have not. I dont like to use that even when I am in pain. It is like my own personal pain I dont want people to know about

No! I had a terrible time with PMS and periods when I was young and am grateful not to have those problems now.

No, I never had to. I always had horrible migraines with my periods, so I never needed to fake it!

No, that’s wrong. It’s not fair to use something like PMS to get out of things, unless you genuinely have severe unbearable cramps. Only women who are truly incapacitated by their PMS cramps should use it as an excuse to get out of stuff. Normally when I have cramps I just try to ignore them and go ahead and do what I have to do.

No. My menstrual pain is quite real and can be very severe sometimes. I don’t have to fake it. I try hard not to let it interfere with the things I have to do. I don’t fake things in order to get out of doing them. I’m actually pretty tough when it comes to pain. I can’t believe people actually do that. If they do, they probably are in the habit of trying to get out of unpleasant things and using whatever convenient “excuse” they can think of at the time….some people are quite comfortable doing that. I’m not.

I worked in one of the most physically demanding medical fields and I never saw a single person do this. What I saw were women who worked while injured to complete their work.

I never have – I take some Advil and move on.

actually i do just the opposite, fake that i’m okay so that i don’t have to deal with anyone coddling me & i can go about my normal business.

No, I get really sick during pms and my period (the pain is no joke) but I actually **** it when people know that its my “time of month”, especially guys. I usually try to hide it, but people close to me can tell anyways by the pale face and non-chirpy voice. :(

  20. KaKing1219 on October 19th, 2008 6:54 pm

No I never fake PMS. It’s real. I just have to work Thru the pms.

  21. waswisgirl1 on October 21st, 2008 2:51 am

Nope, I never even experienced many pms symptoms until the last couple of years, and I’m 49. If I don’t go to work or school or an event, I usually tell the truth why I don’t go, I don’t play games.
