How do you know if the white-ish bumps on your areola are a result from pregnancy or pms?

me for president! asked:

I noticed mine. I know they are always there only I noticed they are a little bigger. Kind of like something bit me but I know thats not what it is. Anyway, I just wanted to know if there is a difference between what they look like in early pregnancy verses pms. I am only day late. I don’t want to be pregnant (tubes are tied) I am hoping I am just paranoid

Same here. I have always had them as well and didnt notice with either of my pregnancy any difference between pregnancy and just pms.

When I was pregnant mine increased in size only slightly but they were definitely more noticeable. I never had any changes in mine when I was menstruating so I am not sure what the difference is. If you search the internet there are pictures of what they should look like if you are pregnant. If you just got your tubes tied it is also possible that your body is just reacting to the change. Best of luck
