How long do you PMS before you get your period? And what are the PMS symptoms?

rorybellows asked:

I have been having PMS symptoms like feeling really tired, sleepy, and really moody, but still no period, I have been noticing that my period has been a few days late each month, ever since I got the Mirena IUD out.

I would PMS for two weeks sometimes before my period. Irregularity is normal after stopping birth control.

It is different for everyone. I used to be able to sleep the whole day the first or second day of my period I was so tired. I don’t think there is any rhyme or reason for it.

PMS *****. I start pms’ing about 12 days before AF hits. Nausea, fatigue, emotional, cranky, sore breasts, achy, cramps, back ache. As much as I don’t want to, I keep up with my workout schedule…it does help.

    Hope you feel better soon!
